Daylight Savings

In the Fall, we turn clocks back one hour.

My morning it's supposed to empower.

I'm not a scaremonger,

But the darkness is longer,

This time change does not hold much power.

Time Change Aftermath

My sleep routine has been upset.

I go to bed late, then regret.

If my bedtime is nine,

I seem to do fine.

But somehow I always forget.

Spring Forward

Some people think it is a crock,

That twice a year we change the clock.

But I think it's greater,

That we have light later.

So the dogs get to go on a walk.

Church Bells

 There's a church nearby that plays a chime,
To tell everyone what is the time.
It's isn't too loud,
I'm surprised it's allowed.
But apparently it's not a crime.

Daylight Saved

 Yesterday we sprang forward an hour.

For the few clocks I change I must scour.

For those who collect?

I bet they neglect.

Changing this many clocks makes me cower.

Time Flies

 It's true that time really does fly.

'Cause today is the first of July.

This year's halfway through,

Which seems can't be true.

It's a concept that does mystify.

Clocks

Here is a glimpse of the stock,

Of a man who collects lots of clocks.

There were a few times,

When I heard lots of chimes.

And every second scores of tocks.

Time Change

We set our clocks one hour back,

For which many people give flack.

We did gain some sleep,

And that part I'll keep.

But our evenings outside just look black.

Some people are wondering why,

We celebrate numbers like pi.

It goes without end,

An irrational friend.

Spring Forward

Our clocks just too early will beep,

An attempt for more daylight to keep.

Is it worth it? No.

But one thing I know.

We're missing an hour of sleep.

Almost Done

Only 5 more days till it is here,

It's the dwindling time that I fear.

It's almost a crime

If I run out of time.

It's the happiest time of the year?

Daylight Savings No More

Today is the day we "Fall Back."

Which gives me an hour to slack.

I changed all the clocks,

For this fall equinox,

And the morning sky won't be so black.

October? Already?

It's the first of October, it's true.

So far this year has really flew.

Now Halloween Day

Is not one month away.

The search for costumes starts anew.

Time Flies

Tomorrow's the last day of Jan.

I'm going as fast as I can.

But I'm falling behind,

And I'm starting to find,

It don't matter how much I plan!
