Spring Equinox

 I think this day needs more acclaim.
'Cause today light and dark are the same.
I'm not a dark hater,
But it will be light later.
"That mean's Spring is here!" I proclaim.

Winter Solstice

This solstice means the longest night.

And the shortest amount of daylight.

It's when Winter starts,

As  you see in the charts.

In the longer days I will delight!

Christmas Lights

If you drive around town on dark nights,

To go looking at cool Christmas lights,

Then here is a place

Which could be a showcase.

Unless the whole house it ignites.

Sunflowers

Sunflowers are cheery and bright,

With a trick that is just outta sight.

On sunlight they feast,

Starting in the East,

And they move to follow the sun's light.
