At camp we just played this fun game.
Each year we will play it the same.
Although we're not fools,
We ignore the rules.
Bocce Ball is the weird sounding name.

It seems to have earned some acclaim.
It's not hard to learn,
Just 1 move on your turn.
To generate gems is your aim.

With just silhouette,

They are hard to get.

If you miss it in 6 there's no shame.

Cribbage Wars

We play cribbage when we get bored.

We're playing on this really strange board.

We dream of the crib.

And a lucky nib.

We have to look up how it's scored.

For Christmas we played this cool game.

Like DnD, without the fame.

We had lots of fun,

And our characters won!

It definitely deserves acclaim.

White Elephant

When playing the white elephant game,

Sometimes there's a gift that's just lame.

Don't make a big gaffe,

Just sit back and laugh.

You're still having fun just the same.

Splendor Duel

We played this new game, Splendor Duel.

Like the board game you have to hoard jewels.

There's three ways to win,

So we'll play it again.

I'd say it meets with our approval.

Two Dots

 It's time for me to now proclaim,

I've come to the end of this game.

They've taken a pause,

As more levels they draws.

Now I wait, which I think is a shame.

Minecraft again?

 I think it is surely a sign,
When I'm playing Minecraft online.
It means summer is coming,
My free time is humming.
It's a good thing that I like to mine.

Last night we played this card game.

While we had fun I thought it was lame.

You just have to surmise

The cannibal's guise.

Or the pioneers will lose the game.

Solitaire - Old Slide Find

Here's my Great Aunt trying to prepare,

To teach me how to play solitaire.

I'm trying to look cool

As she explains a rule.

And the hat makes me look debonair.

Bingo!

It may not be a night on the town,
But we didn't stay home feeling down.
In our children's lingo,
We played old person bingo.
But we had fun, not once did we frown.

 

Wordle Streak

 I'm on a new max Wordle streak.

Though not huge, I think it's not weak.

It's a fun little game,

My family thinks the same.

I acknowledge that I'm a word geek.

Cribbage

Sometimes we play cribbage at night.
With this hand I was doing all right.
It was close most the way.
That's a good way to play.
At the end I won, to my delight.

 

Home Game

This game yesterday was a blast.
We thought our team would be outclassed.
But they played really well,
In support we did yell.
Let's hope this winning streak will last.

 

Early Morning DnD

Our campaign's almost at an end.

We play at the house of a friend.

Tomorrow we'll meet,

The final boss we'll beat.

A good way to start the weekend!

Blazer Game

 We attended a fun Blazer Game.

It was a great game played by Dame.

His cool moves are nifty,

He went off for fifty!

That they lost to the Cavs is just lame.

Home Made Corn...hole.

My wife and daughter went to make,

A game to play through this outbreak.

With socks full of wheat, 

Their wood boards were sweet!

Some Cornhole games we did partake.

Cornhole

I was working out at the gym when,

I saw cornhole on ESPN.

My first thought? Rejoice!

A new career choice!

And it's played by both women and men.

Minecraft Realms

To set up a realm you must pay,

But with friends and family you can play.

We build our own places,

In interesting spaces.

They can play even while I'm away.
