Veterans' Day

This day we all show our support.

And our veterans we do exhort.

What I think would be great,

And improve their fate,

Is that soldiers we do not export.

It' been seventy years to the day,

Since our soldiers ran into the fray.

Their courage was high, 

Though many did die.

For continuing peace we do pray,
