Oops

While parking, I drove off the edge.

And I couldn't drive back to the ledge.

After buckets of gravel,

We were able to travel.

To not do this again is my pledge.

Field Trip

I don't always think it a plus,

When I get to drive a mini bus.

But it saves us some dough,

And it's not far to go.

So I guess that it's worth all the fuss.

Away Game

To watch all of her games we do strive,

Even when it's a two hour drive.

'Though the drive was long,

Our team did play strong.

I'm glad that we did see it live.

New Driver

My daughter is not a nitwit,

'Cause she just received her permit.

Which means I will strive,

To teach her to drive.

And now when she drives she is legit!

Driving with caution

 Driving on ice is a trick,
And the roads in Portland were slick.
I had to go slow,
And keep my speed low,
While idiots want to drive quick.

Icy

You really should take my advice,

And not try to drive on the ice.

At first it just snowed,

Now there's ice on the road.

Sliding around is not nice.

Winter Wonderland

The snow has been falling outside,

And it made for an interesting ride.

I just took it slow,

And kept my speed low.

It worked! I did not even slide.

Driving in the Rain

I don't much like driving in rain.

In fact, I think it is a pain.

Some drive way to fast,

I don't mind being last,

If I get there and still remain sane.

Convertible Camero

This car is a really sweet ride,

I drove it today with much pride. 

We put down the top,

Drove out to our stop. 

And I enjoyed it all with my bride. 

On the Road Again...Still.

Today we're making the long trek,

I'm getting a pain in the neck.

The landscape is new,

I enjoy the view.

My speed I continue to check.

New Driver

When a child is learning to drive, 

It makes me feel very alive.

My heart seems to race

At a very quick pace,

Until we do safely arrive!
