Spring Broke

Today's the last day of Spring Break.

It's one week, but hey, that I'll take.

I got some stuff done,

Took some naps, had some fun.

Now it's back to school, for Pete's sake.

One More Week

Yes, Mondays are already tough.

But the week before Spring Break is rough.

We have lots of distractions,

Like a test on Fractions!

Patience, I hope I have enough.

It was raining during our Spring Break,

But this picture I managed to take.

Although rain may douse,

Our old city house,

I'm glad to see what it did make.

Just one more day until Spring Break.

I need it soon for my kids' sake.

Cranky is my mood,

We're all acting rude.

A week long rest I'll surely take.

Spring Give Me a Break.

 I usually try not to fret,

But this year Spring Break's gonna be wet.

I was hoping for sun,

And lots of outside fun.

A few naps will help not be upset.

 This month I've been a bit stressed.

So I'm ready to take a week rest.

During this short lapse,

I plan to take naps.

Spring Break time is really the best.

Back to the Grind

We're back from a week of Spring Break,

Twelve more weeks is all it will take.

To finish the year,

With a silent cheer.

Then in Summer, I can partake.

Spring Break Blues

For a while I've had to cough and hack.

I went to my doc, not a quack.

Now I've got this good drug, 

Which should kill this bug.

I just hope I can get my health back.

Spring Break

On, this, the first day of my break.

At an early hour I did awake.

I played basketball,

Shopped at the mall.

And generally acted the flake.

Spring Break!

For most jobs this perk is unique.

I'm out of school for the whole week!

I'll try to relax

While reading my stacks.

And I'll work on my napping technique.

Break!

It's finally here! My Spring Break!

And I plan to just veg and flake.

We'll go to the zoo,

Watch a movie or two.

I need this for sanity's sake.
