A nice walk

This trail is a really nice walk. 
There's a great view of which you can gawk.
It isn't too long,
Bring your dog along.
You can get exercise while you talk.

 

Happy Thanksgiving

We took the dogs for a long walk.

At this view I could not help but gawk.

I like our small town,

Even when it is brown.

I'm thankful, and that is no crock.

Peaceful

We went for a nice morning walk.

Out in nature, far from the gridlock.

We found this great view,

So peaceful and blue.

So we just stood, enjoying our gawk.

Dog Walking

Today I was walking the dogs.
For the beagle, each outing's a slog.
But they both like to see,
Sniff stuff and go pee.
But I can't take them out for a jog.

 

Glow Run

Our town really put on a show,
With these runners and walkers aglow.
Raising cash's our intent
With this crowded event.
But it's still dark so I just walked slow.

Losing Daylight

My wife and I went, on a lark,

To take a long walk in the park.

But something went wrong,

And before too long,

The sun went down and it got dark!

Morning Walk

This morning we went for a walk.

We took the two dogs 'round the block.

The dogs were giddy,

To sniff, poop and pee.

And my wife and I just got to talk.

Dog Tired

We took the dogs on a long walk,

Through a park, not just around the block.

They sniffed at some tails,

Tried chasing some quails.

That they're pooped should not come as a shock.

Walking Home

After choir, I thought, on a lark,

"I think I'll walk home through the park."

It wasn't too dreary,

But it was a bit eerie,

As I walked home alone in the dark.
