Another Sunset?

We went out to look at this sky.

The colors looked good to the eye.

With "red sky at night,

A sailor's delight,"

Tomorrow's weather should be dry.

Smokey Skies

Our whole state is really on fire.

The reality for many is dire.

The smoke is so thick,

It's making us sick.

And the sky a strange hue did acquire.

 

Comet Neowise

I hope you've been able to spy,

This new visitor to our night sky.

My favorite detail?

It's feathery tail.
