Happy Easter

A pretty mild Easter this year.

No family dinners were here.

Came home and changed pants,

Then potted our plants.

Now we'll wait for flowers to appear.

Easter Egg Hunt

 At kids time 2 kids came up front.

They got sent on an Easter egg hunt.

They both looked so cute

As they got Easter loot.

A traditional Easter Day stunt.

Easter Zoom?

Before Jesus went to his doom,
He set up this Last Supper Zoom.

When they had a dispute,

He put them on mute.

And sent them to another room.

Easter

Good Friday brought a sense of doom,

His disciples had feelings of gloom.

But after three days,

The Lord did amaze.

Yes, Jesus arose from the Tomb!

Easter 2016

I'm not telling you any bull,

When I tell you that our church was full.

They sat in the pews,

To hear the Good News.

That Jesus has made death null.

Easter Sunday

Today our church is all abloom,

To celebrate Jesus' rise from the tomb.

They're pretty to see,

These flowers plenty.

And they give off a pleasant perfume.

This holiday's meaning is clear,

After 3 days it's finally here.

From his place in a cave,

He rose from the grave.

Now death is not something to fear.

Three days he was stuck in his tomb.

From choices which spelled out his doom.

But he didn't stay dead,

Is Messiah instead.

So we celebrate our sins that went boom.

It's Easter, which means He has risen!

In church to the story we did listen.

It took him three days,

To be with us always.

To meet him is what we are wishin'!
