Berry Patch

This my brand new berry patch.
I just built the whole thing from scratch.
With berries of blue,
And strawberries too.
I can't wait to taste the first batch.

 

Hot Stuff

These pepper are looking so hot.

They came from our own garden plot.

We'll see if they're spicy,

When I chop and dicey.

These aren't alone, we have a lot!

Planting

I humbly do beg your pardon,

But I'm getting some plants for the garden.

I agree there's lots,

We'll put them in pots.

I can already feel back muscles harden.

Compost

I've heard some gardening intel,

That compost can help plants grow well. 

So I bought a load,

Now ready to be sowed.

I'll ignore that is has a slight smell.

Garden is Done

Our garden is done for the year.

I made the plants all disappear.

It has done it's best,

Now it's time for a rest.

The weeds now get to commandeer.

Winding Down

The tomatoes are ripe and have dropped.

Daily watering has also stopped.

It's not time to brood,

I've grown some good food.

But my gardening this year has topped.

Cherries on Top.

Here's another gardening hype.

My cherry tomatoes are ripe.

I'm having to look,

For more ways to cook.

Fresh salsa is much more my type.

Picked Peppers

These peppers are just freshly picked.
Which means that I know I was tricked.
They look really swell,
They're supposed to be Bell.
So a spicy heat they will inflict.

 

Sunflower

 I took this so that you can see,
This sunflower's taller than me!
The others I started,
Only grew half-hearted.
Or maybe the soil's crappy?

Harvest

I just picked this haul from my garden.
I'm excited, I ask for your pardon.
Yes the zucchini grew,
Now it's as big as two.
I just hope there's no vegetable warden.

 

Garden

I planted a small garden plot,

So not all my food would be store bought.

It won't grow a ton,

But I'm having fun.

But it's clear that a farmer, I'm not.

Green Tomatoes

Tomatoes can ripen so slow, 

I wonder if they'll ever grow. 

But when they are ripe,

They rise to the hype. 

Fresh produce is the way to go. 

Garden Treasure

My garden has produced some squash,

I picked them and gave them a wash.

There's more coming soon,

A curse? Or a boon?

I may have to make some goulash.

Gardening

I tilled up my small garden plot,

Which means that I can't plant a lot.

We planted some seeds,

Satisfied water needs.

Now we wait. Then we'll see what we got.
