Beach Flowers

These flowers came in on the tide.

I wonder what started their ride.

There must be a story,

They're not migratory.

Perhaps they belonged to a bride?

   Skeletons really are cool.
I wish that I had some at school.

This week their focus,

Was insects, like locusts.

Balloons!

We made sure to get here early,
So the hot air balloons we could see.
They're so fun to watch,
With their colorful swatch.
We're lucky it wasn't windy.

 

Research

This is where she does her research.

For pollution data they do search.

The inside is tiny,

But she don't get whiny.

On her cramped airplane seat she does perch.

Utah

Last week we flew to, and saw,

Our daughter, who was in Utah.

The flight was fine, I think,

Just snacks and a drink.

As you can see, we flew Alaska.

River Water

I kayak 'cause I like the view.
But look at this water, gross, eww.
The good news I'll tell,
At least it don't smell.
But it looks like yukky algae stew.
