This cool train photo I did take,

As the train passed by this small lake.

The water was still,

For this reflecting thrill.

I think a framed version I'll make.

Last Day of Summer

More days of summer I do lack,
So tomorrow, I will be going back.
I'll start the school gears,
For the 30th year.
By now I think I have the knack.

Archery is really a blast.
Each year I remember it fast.
Let me make it clear,
The targets are near.
So as Robin Hood, I shouldn't be cast.

These flowers came in on the tide.

I wonder what started their ride.

There must be a story,

They're not migratory.

Perhaps they belonged to a bride?
