Swole.

In this picture I think you can tell,

Elevation caused this bag to swell.

I opened the top,

Which caused it to pop.

But it didn't change the taste or smell.

Hurdle

There was this big hole in the sand.
So this feat of athletics they planned.
He managed a jump,
Without hitting his rump.
I kinda wish he did crash land.

 

Spoiled

Our dog, on his way to the beach.
He's kind of an attention leach.
He watches the view,
'Cause it's usually new.
Just make sure to be slow when you reach.

 

Inservice

I really don't think it's that bleak,

But I have in-service this week.

Then I am back teaching,

While thinking of beaching.

But I've got 30 years of my streak.

City by the Beach

I thought that this view was so pretty.

The sun did persist,

As the train passed by this small lake.

The water was still,

For this reflecting thrill.

Last Day of Summer

More days of summer I do lack,
So tomorrow, I will be going back.
I'll start the school gears,
For the 30th year.
By now I think I have the knack.
