Secret Garden

Belknap has a cool garden spot.

But a place to bring dogs it is not.

This guy had to wait,

As this sign clearly states.

So while we enjoy he will squat.

Not So Hot Springs

We like trying out fun new things,

So we set out to find this hot springs.

Because of a storm,

It was just lukewarm.

Someday we'll see what warm weather brings.

Bigelow Hot Springs

Hotel Breakfast

Our hotel served us breakfast food.

This helps put me in a good mood.

The choices weren't bad,

I ate what they had.

Besides, it's the same once it's chewed.

Blue Pool

We hiked out to visit Blue Pool,
Because it's so clear and so cool.
It's something I like
At the end of a hike.
I'd rather be here than at school.

 

Sub Plans

I'm going to head out of town.

Which means sub plans, those make me frown.

I've got a good sub,

There's not much they can flub.

I hope they don't have a breakdown.

Haiku

 I'm teaching my students haiku.

Which many of them don't want to do.

We read them a lot,

And I found a good spot.

Choir Practice

We practice our songs for Sunday,

We won't be there this week, gone to play.

But my wife directs,

So we can't just neglect.

I hope that their song goes okay.
