Perspective

This picture makes us look so small.

But the sides of this bridge were so tall.

It's sturdy for sure,

The view gets obscured.

But at least we aren't worried we'll fall.

McKenzie River Trail

We had some light rain, but no fog.

Some small streams we crossed on a log.

It's something we like,

Together we hike.

And we bring along our little dog.

State Testing

 It is time to take our state test.
I hope they eat well and get rest.
I know it's not fun,
But it needs to get done.
Let's hope that they aren't feeling stressed.

Field Trip

Our state capitol we did tour.
We like to leave school, for sure.
Our tour guide was cool,
She went to our school!
The bus ride I've learned to endure.

 

Math and Literacy Night

 After school we had a special night.

Where parents and kids come on-site.

We do math and read,

Which helps us succeed.

I think my station was all right.

Secret Garden

Belknap has a cool garden spot.

But a place to bring dogs it is not.

This guy had to wait,

As this sign clearly states.

So while we enjoy he will squat.

Not So Hot Springs

We like trying out fun new things,

So we set out to find this hot springs.

Because of a storm,

It was just lukewarm.

Someday we'll see what warm weather brings.
