We were almost finished with our hike,

When my tired attention did spike.

These large piles of bugs,

All clustered and snug.

This sneak peak at nature I like.

Cascades

 While hiking I wonder if I could,

See the Cascade Range real good.

It was foggy down low,

But look, it has snow.

We saw Jefferson, Sisters and Hood. (And St. Helens...)

ICCA West Quarterfinals!

Tonight you now know where I'll be.

It's the event that inspired Glee!

We'll go watch my son,

(I hope his group won.)

I'm just glad it's him and not me.

Leftovers

On weekends when it's time to eat,

Choosing what to eat's quite the feat.

We'll open the fridge

And look for a smidge.

This trail ends where 2 rivers meet.

The hike is a nice, easy feat.
