River Water

I kayak 'cause I like the view.
But look at this water, gross, eww.
The good news I'll tell,
At least it don't smell.
But it looks like yukky algae stew.

 

Sauvie Island Beach

The Columbia River has a beach?
I thought that it would be a reach.
It's actually grand,
With lots of nice sand.
 And there's parking that's easy to reach.

 

More Garlic?

My elephant garlic is dry,
So it's ready to sauté and fry.
Or how's this instead?
I'll put it in bread.
There's so many things I can try.

 

Signs

This Trailhead had a lot of signs,
Telling us the rules and guidelines.
It seemed like a lot,
For one little spot.
But now I know how not to get fines.

I really like this thingamajig,
It's a brass drummer whirligig.
I did not see it go,
'Cause the wind didn't blow.
But this kind of decor I dig.
