Was insects, like locusts.

Science is not conspiracy.

Balloons!

We made sure to get here early,
So the hot air balloons we could see.
They're so fun to watch,
With their colorful swatch.
We're lucky it wasn't windy.

 

Research

This is where she does her research.

For pollution data they do search.

The inside is tiny,

But she don't get whiny.

On her cramped airplane seat she does perch.

Utah

Last week we flew to, and saw,

Our daughter, who was in Utah.

The flight was fine, I think,

Just snacks and a drink.

As you can see, we flew Alaska.

River Water

I kayak 'cause I like the view.
But look at this water, gross, eww.
The good news I'll tell,
At least it don't smell.
But it looks like yukky algae stew.

 

Sauvie Island Beach

The Columbia River has a beach?
I thought that it would be a reach.
It's actually grand,
With lots of nice sand.
 And there's parking that's easy to reach.

 

More Garlic?

My elephant garlic is dry,
So it's ready to sauté and fry.
Or how's this instead?
I'll put it in bread.
There's so many things I can try.
