May Day?

I woke up this morning and "Hey!"

How come it is already May?

Only 6 weeks of school,

I'm starting to drool.

I look forward to summer vacay!

My class is learning OP Art.

The illusions are my favorite part.

The curved and straight lines,

Help to trick our minds.

The student work is off the chart.

ABC Countdown

Only 26 days left of school.

So we're starting this fun countdown tool.

Each day has a theme,

To help let off steam.

This helps make our small school cool.

Wysteria

I know it's no cause for hysteria,

But I planted a brand new wisteria.

This species, I hear,

Is resistant to deer.

'Cause we have a whole herd in our area.

Sweet Peas

Today, I will plant some sweet peas.

They look nice, and help feed the bees.

The seeds will soon sprout,

Of this there's no doubt.

I think that we've seen our last freeze.

Green Horizon

Here's another country school scene,
I took of a field of green.
It will grow into wheat,
That we can then eat.
Until then, it keeps me serene.

 

Bumbling

I know that it is hard to see,

But here is a large bumble bee.

On a flower it's crawlin'

While collecting pollen.

Now soon I'll collect blueberries!
