Senior Discount?

 I'm feeling conflicted on account,

Of being given a senior discount.

I close to that age,

So I won't feign outrage.

The good news is I pay less amount.

From my old band day, this I do miss.
On measure 25 there's a gliss.
My squadmates and me, 
Just called it, "Ba Weee."
When I play I hope it's not amiss.

 

We're Bach!

I know this composer's not Bach.
But this music's classical, not rock
Rehearsals are starting,
My lips are smarting.
I'll have to relearn how to squawk.

 

New Car!

It took us some time to decide, 

But we went out and bought a new ride.

It's just 2 years old,

Which saved us some gold.

It's really comfortable inside.

Raining

Last night it just started to pour.

It's been dry to we did need some more.

But it put on a show,

Gutters did overflow.

It was loud, and hard to ignore.

Academ's Fury

Last night I finished this good book.

It has a fun fantasy hook.

Magic works a ton,

But this one kid has none.

This series is worth a good look.
