Sweet Peas

Today, I will plant some sweet peas.

They look nice, and help feed the bees.

The seeds will soon sprout,

Of this there's no doubt.

I think that we've seen our last freeze.

Green Horizon

Here's another country school scene,
I took of a field of green.
It will grow into wheat,
That we can then eat.
Until then, it keeps me serene.

 

Bumbling

I know that it is hard to see,

But here is a large bumble bee.

On a flower it's crawlin'

While collecting pollen.

Now soon I'll collect blueberries!

Brass Band?

 Here's a fun statue of a brass band.

4 instruments and baby grand.

Although they stand still,

The water does spill.

I guess I should give them a hand?

Small Class

Today, half my class will be gone.

A Band field trip they are on.

Lessons I can't start,

I guess I'll do Art.

Not sure if it's painted or drawn.

Perspective

This picture makes us look so small.

But the sides of this bridge were so tall.

It's sturdy for sure,

The view gets obscured.

But at least we aren't worried we'll fall.

McKenzie River Trail

We had some light rain, but no fog.

Some small streams we crossed on a log.

It's something we like,

Together we hike.

And we bring along our little dog.
