Cinco de Mayo

I think it's a weird holiday.

That falls on the 5th day of May.

I don't wait till now,

To eat Mexican chow.

I eat Mexican food every day.

May the 4th be with you.

A holiday I can endorse.

Comes from Star Wars, a very good source.

Either Jedi or Sith,

It's only a myth.

But I still wish I could use the force.

Hiking

This Cascade Trail is not too wide.

We were lucky this day it had dried.

Some places it's deep,

Also pretty steep.

You might have to adjust your stride.

Cascade Head

Last weekend some friends and us tread,

Our way up the trail to Cascade Head.

The view is amazing.

We spent some time gazing.

Afterwards, we made sure we were fed.

 

May Day?

I woke up this morning and "Hey!"

How come it is already May?

Only 6 weeks of school,

I'm starting to drool.

I look forward to summer vacay!
