My son got a pretty deep gash,

It started to bleed in a flash.

But he held it up high,

And did pressure apply

Yes he did his first aid with panache.

My CPR class was a cinch.

I learned what to do in a pinch.

When to push on their chest

So I don't need much rest.

I hope when the time comes I don't flinch.

First Aid

This year I must retake First Aid.

Just in case I get cut with a blade.

We'll practice our breaths

Work to prevent deaths.

I'll be medically trained, be afraid!
