Field Trip

The old things- where do you see them?

Of course, you go to a museum.

I hope they don't fuss,

While I drive mini bus.

The bus driver? I get to be him.

Two Weeks

 There's only 2 weeks left of school.
We just have to play it real cool.
Teachers and kids agree,
Do nothing too weighty.
Having summers off really does rule.

Field Day

 'Cause some of the helpers had split,
I ended up smoothing this pit.
The kids ran and jumped.
The winners were pumped.
Every year our Field Day is lit.

Berries!

 One thing that helps make me merry,
Is munching on a fresh strawberry.
I say some bad words,
If they're eaten by birds.
They usually get most of the cherries.

Super Power?

It turns out I have super powers.
I hiked without going for 6 hours.
So this welcome sight,
Helped me feel all right.
I just wish it also had showers.

 

Campfire Ring

While camping we found this cool thing.
A gigantic, campfire ring.
Our fire looks small,
Doesn't fill it at all.
I guess more wood we'll have to bring!

 

Dog Mountain View

This hard hike was so worth the view.
With flowers, red, yellow and blue.
Although I walked slow,
I got a great show.
I was relieved when I was through.
