Old School

We had this hotel for the night.
And we saw this unusual sight.
A real metal key,
To give us entry.
Sometimes old things are alright.

 

Yosemite

My wife and I went to Yosemite.

It was pretty as I'd heard it'd be.

We hiked many trails,

Saw bears (that's a tale.)

Our National Parks are for us to see!

Vacation

I am on vacation this week.

So if it is limericks you seek,

You won't see them new

I hope you're not blue.

When I'm back I will give you a peek.

Trivial Knowledge

We started with a perfect score.

But the next rounds we did really poor.

There's no chance we won,

We're there to have fun.

We need to brush up on our lore.

 I just finished watching Rogue One.

After 2 seasons of Andor was done.

Leia's got Death Star plans, now she runs!

Fathers Day!

Today I'm exceedingly glad,

For the children who make me a dad.

It's been 29 years,

More laughter, less tears.

I think that my family is rad!

Now she's ready to turn a new page.

She's leaving the state,

To find a new fate.

It's a great time for coming of age.
