Hike

 

This section of trail was straight!
Nothing to deter a nice gait.
No leaves to be seen, 
Just bare brown, not green.
But it was still well worth the wait.

I see hike.

Our hike last week turned out so nice.
The sunny weather did entice.
You should all be told,
It was a bit cold.
The trail in parts still had some ice.

 

Eastern Lights

The Northern Lights I didn't see.

But this was visible to me.

It came from the East,

The brightness increased!

It's pretty, I think you'll agree.

Nourora

I'd like to see the Northern Lights,

So I stayed up late for several nights.

Sadly for me,

This is all I see.

Maybe soon conditions will be right.

Band Practice?

I joined our town band with my wife.

So we have more music in our life.

It's been a long time

Since our playing prime.

Now I'm battling lip soreness strife.

 

Check Engine Light

Our check engine light is now on.

I don't like that, I want it gone.

O'Reilly's will scan,

To help make a plan.

It told me to put gas cap on.

Sunny Winter Day

The weather is sunny and clear.

It's not normal, so we hold it dear.

I'm out doing chores,

Like going to stores.

The bright sunlight helps give me cheer.
