Deluge

It started raining cats and dogs.

Through the streets my car had to slog.

Lots of hail and rain,

Made driving a pain.

Then my driveway drain had a clog.

Mothers Day

This weekend was not just for track.

We found some time to lay back.

We checked out this park,

Played games for a lark.

After driving all day, hit the sack!

In triple jump you must jump far.
But it can be hard on your lumbar.
As WOU represent,
In her final event.
She managed a final PR.

My heart was beginning to thump,

For her track career's final high jump.

'Though 1st was preferred,

She did come in third.

For her future life I am just pumped.

Travelin'

This school day I chose to skip.

'Cause I'm taking a weekend road trip.

My daughter competes

In her last track meet.

It's her final GNAC Championship!

The Trifecta!

You know what I think is ideal?

Having Mexican food every meal.

I accomplished that goal,

And now I am full.

For this cuisine I have much zeal.

NBA Playoffs

There have been some really close games.

Some good teams have gone down in flames

Of old guys there's few.

Curry, Butler too.
