Tired

Coming back from a break makes me tired.

'Cause I can't take naps like I desired.

It won't be too long,

'Till my breaks I prolong.

I can't wait until I'm retired.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow I go back to work.

This 2 week break is a great perk.

It's back to the grind,

Though I really don't mind.

Teaching I no longer can shirk.

We went out for drinks and sushi,

I bought a glass of Iced Thai Tea

I thought I would share,

This cute little bear.

Who just sat there staring at me.

It wasn't even raining hard.
I've seen them before, 
But I still enjoy more.

While parking, I drove off the edge.

And I couldn't drive back to the ledge.

After buckets of gravel,

We were able to travel.

To not do this again is my pledge.

New Year's Eve

So we're starting all over again.

Resolutions this year? I'll refrain.

I'll hang out with my wife,

While we enjoy our life.
