Recliners

Our furniture is really old.

It's not comfortable, so I'm told.

So we're thinking of what,

Will work for our butt.

It seems it will cost us much gold.

Another Sunset?

We went out to look at this sky.

The colors looked good to the eye.

With "red sky at night,

A sailor's delight,"

Tomorrow's weather should be dry.

Happy Thanksgiving

We took the dogs for a long walk.

At this view I could not help but gawk.

I like our small town,

Even when it is brown.

I'm thankful, and that is no crock.

Thanksgiving Eve

The kids are all home for a while.

Which is a big reason to smile.

Tomorrow we'll eat,

Both savory and sweet.

Time with family is worthwhile.

Conferences

I finished conferences today.

Which means I had a lot to say.

The families I meet,

Over 20, I greet.

Now I will have a few days away.

Pre School Sunrise

My rural school's out in the sticks.
So I often get my sunrise fix.
The horizon is wide,
So it's easily spied.

Break Time

It's already Thanksgiving Break.

So a few extra days I will take.

Conferences again,

So grades I'll explain.

Then a big ol' turkey I will bake.
